Ecology is a form of science that studies the biota (living things), the environment, and their interactions. Ecology is the study of ecosystems, which is a community of relations among organisms at different scales of organization.Ecology is defined as the department of science that studies how human beings or organisms relate to each other and their environment. An instance of ecology is analyzing the food chain in a wetlands area.

It is the study of organisms and how they interact with the environment around them. An ecologist studies the relationship between living things and their habitats.To locate the answers to these questions, ecologists have to learn about and examine all forms of existence and their ecosystems throughout our world.
