In order to become a professional zoologist, you can choose a combination of courses that lead to education in the specializations of flora and fauna and conservation biology, entomology, environmental physiology, marine biology, fisheries biology and aquaculture, terrestrial ecology, molecular ecology and mathematical applications in biology. Field courses are provided in arid zone ecology, rainforest ecology, marine ecology, and coral reef biology. Zoologists discover the relationships and interactions of animals with their bodily and organic environments at individual, population, neighborhood and ecosystem levels.They make use of modern and experimental tactics to investigate the evolution and diversity of animals.
