Statement of Purpose

Student: KIEC Student

I am (Your Name), permanent resident of ( Address ). I was born on 3rd February 1999( Passport Number ) to ( Parent Name )with one small brother (Name) and two younger sisters ( Names ). My father worked as a businessman and mother work in the shop my sisters and brother are still studying. All of my family members are engaged in their own area and occupation.

I write this statement of purpose as evidence to show that I am a genuine student and want t to explain my academic background, ambitions, the reason for choosing a particular course, country, and education providers along my future career plans. My chosen institute is Federation University located in Melbourne. I intend to study a bachelor of information technology-business information (3years course). I did my schooling from (School Name)and completed my school leaving certificate (SLC examination in the year 2016) with grade 3.55 GPA. Then I jointed Nobel academy Higher secondary school for my intermediate level in science with a major subject as biology and completed in the year 2018 securing 3.06 Gpa I gave my IELTS examination on 8th Dec 2018 and scored overall of 6.

Afterwards, I visited numerous educational consultancies and researched online to decide which country would be suitable for me. After doing research on the internet, I decided to choose Australia as my education destination. The government website ( was a great help finding all that I need to know about studying in Australia. Few things that I found from the website made me decide Australia as my study destination.  It is a country where the standard of education is regarded as one of the best in the world .8 out of 100 top universities are there in Australia. It also provides 22000 courses from 1200 institution. Their university system is ranked 9th in the world. A very rich education and learning system, which I will benefit from. The main concern for my parents is my safety.Australia is the safest country around the world leaving behind countries like USA and UK. Australia has a multicultural society like my country where people are cooperative and understandable.  Education institutions in Australia provide health’s related program by assisting them with modern technology based infrastructure related to community service and health. After research, I found out that there are few factors which really attracted me towards Australia such as quality education with worldwide recognition, cultural diversity, harmonious atmosphere, health and safety, moderate climate; low climate rate, affordable fee structures and low living cost. Australian cities are safe with low crimes rates than those of the USA and UK. Similarly, the main reason for choosing Australia as my study place is that Australian educational institution not only provides a superiority education to their students but also offer a wide variety of course and degrees. In addition, Australia degrees are globally recognized and then graduates from Australian educational institutions are highly sought after due to the impressive international reputation of the Australian education system and so it will easily help me to develop my career job in Nepal. The other advantage that I get by studying in Australia is the education service for overseas students(ESOS Act)set up by the Australian government to protect the right of international students studying  n Australia ,including students right  to receive ,before enrolling ,current and other information from that institution to safeguard the rights and maintain the quality of education for international students.

Tuition protection service (TPS) is a placement and refund service for international students, which is activated in the event that a selected institution is unable to teach a course. In the unlikely event of education provider is unable to deliver a course that students have paid for and doesn’t meet students obligations to either offer students an alternative courses that students can accept or pay a refund of unspent prepaid tuition fees, the TPS will assist students and finding an alternative course or to get a refund if a suitable alternative is not found. I regard that Australia is the right place for me to increase my understanding of the world around me and help me grow as a person who wants to be qualified, professionally trained and experienced Moreover, through cross-cultural exchange and international exposure, it’s my strong belief that I will be able to do better in studies after gaining my higher qualification in Australia.

My understanding-(Information Technology /Networking):

Networking is a form of telecommunication between computers where they exchange data with a data link. One computer -network everyone is familiar with is the internet .computer nodes or hosts are able to excess, create, delete and alter data that is on this networking.Networking utilizes devices such as switches, modems, routers, gateways etc. Network security is any protection of access, misuse and hacking of files and directories in a computer network system. Some of the most common threats to a network include viruses, worms, spyware, and adware and identity theft. One of the most important aspects of network security is the multiple layers of security. Information and communication are two of the most important strategic issues for the success of every enterprise. Computer networks allow the user to access remote program and remote databases either of the same organization or from other enterprises or public sources. Networking can include home or business computer networks and wired or wireless computer networks As well as their classification, computer networks can also differ in their design.

Demand for Information Technology (IT) workers is high should continue to grow as firms invest in newer and fastest technology. We all know tech jobs are hot and one has to be living under a rock not to see it. According to the Bureau of the labour statistics’ occupational outlook Handbook, Network and computer systems Administration have an expected job growth rate of 8%which is as fast as the average rate of growth for all other occupation of my degree iI don’t  have to be stuck in an industry if I don’t like as there are varieties of industries to work at . I can apply to any company that has an IT department.Typical industries that computer managers may work in are:

  • Education services(state,local,and private)
  • Finance and insurance
  • Administration and support services
  • Information
  • Computer system design and related area
  • Entertainment
  • Music

I have passionate since my childhood in information technology because it provides a broad introduction of computer science thus I’ll be able to pursue any studies in specializations. The Bachelor of Information Technology and system focuses on delivering knowledge and skills in computer networking, application development and computer-based software to meet the current IT industry needs. The bachelor of IT ensures that graduates develop a broad and coherent body of knowledge in the underlying principles and concepts of Information  Technology. It provides students with the opportunity to explore and identify critical IT industry demands and to understand how these demands are met.Bachelor of Information Technology course at Federation University is designed to produce graduates like that the Nepalese institution does not offer the latest technology. Most of the course make us study about history than what will be in future technology, which makes the course curriculum is outdated, and not as per the industry requirements. The lack of technologies infrastructure in the institution as well as the lack of exposure to the teachers made me feels that I will not be globally competitive if I study in Nepal. The degree thus obtained will not technical aligned and will make a passed -out graduates less competent to fight for productive jobs in the IT sector in future in many parts of the world including my own country.

After considering the quality of education provided, fee structure, student number, different student support activities and location. I have decided to pursue my course at Federation University. My decision to choose Federation University is influenced by internationally recognized degree offered by the institute. Federation University Australia is a modern, progressive university providing high -quality vocational and higher education across a national and international network of campuses. Federation University is the fourth oldest tertiary education institution in Australia having begun under predecessor institution in 1870, during the Victorian gold rush. Feduni offers international students a much more affordable cost for Information Technology and living expenses. we will learn the skills the appropriate knowledge and values o be effective in modern business environment .we will be able to develop an understanding of the organization setting in which information system is used, and recognise the threats and opportunities of technology in business .similarly we can explore information security, multimedia, knowledge management, databases, emerging technologies in business and more. After successful completion of the first two years of the bachelor degree, we may choose to exit with the Associate Degree of Information Technology qualification. Federation University Australia graduates have been rated the best in Australia for employability technical and adaptive skills (Employer satisfaction survey2017, January 2018). Feduni has also been ranked number one in Victoria for overall employment, median starting salary, student support and teaching scale (QILT, 2018).

Australia has a lot to offer when it comes to education. It is a country where the standard of education imparted is one of the best in the world. The fact that some of the best universities in the world are located in Australia speaks highly about education in Australia. Before I decided to study in Australia, I look ex at studying in Nepal itself. My research on where to study was going apparel which resulted in more comparative research.Amongst the most popular universities in Nepal, I could not find proper networking based courses here. Universities like Tribhuvan university had a course like CSIT (computer science and Information Technology) and BIT(bachelor in Information Technology) under the institution of science and Technology. On the other hand, Kathmandu University, they have a program like BE (computer engineering) only. I wanted to do a specialized program in business which I didn’t find here. Besides the unavailability of the course, I also found that Nepalese institution doesn’t offer the latest technology. The lack of technologies infrastructure in the institution as well as the lack of exposure to the teacher made me feels that I will not be globally competitive if I study in Nepal. But if I study abroad, I will be having international exposure will be learning in a completely new type of education system than that of my country and also will be studying the course which is designed completely to make the graduates fit for the technology sector jobs directly.

For any parents, quality education for their children is most important .with this vibe my mother and father are funding my education expenses. My father is a businessman, he earns annually NPR roughly 1200000. my mother works in a shop, she earns annually NRp closely  500000. similarly, we have our own house so we can earn annual income from house rent is around 200000. Additionally, we have a fund which is generated from land sales. I am well informed regarding my tuition expenses at Federation University. My total tuition for the Bachelor of Information Technology is AUD$ 23,700 . considering income of sponsors, I can fully sure that I will not have any financial trouble. I can confidently return back to my home country with a competitive advantage over peers and pursue my IT careers here. It is sure that upon the completion of Bachelor in IT, I will acquire a broad knowledge base and sufficient skills become highly competent in international job market and confident enough to work independently. I would be able to compete with others for job placement with the upper hand of a foreign degree that helps employers to prioritize me against other competitors. With my knowledge and skills, I will be able to achieve more experiences in my working position, which will prove productive in my growing career position. I research in a few job portals, and there I found lots of jobs available in the position of Network Administration, Network system Administration that perfectly suited my career path.

The visa condition for international student in Australia in academic growth refers to academic progress made over a period of time, as measured from the beginning to the end of the defined period. The official government site for international students gives a typical annuals tuition fee for international graduates students. for the undergraduate’s course, the scores provide an indication of the minimum requirements at most universities: IELTS-overall score of 6.0 to 6.5.(no band less than 5.5 to 6.0)TOFEL(Internet-based test)-overall score 60 to 90. International students can work up to 40 hours per fortnight (two week period) during universities semesters, full-time hours during vacation. In general, students shouldn’t expect to cover tuition fee or living expense by holding down a casual job. International students in Australia on valid student’s visa can work for up to 20 hours per week while school is in session, and there is no limit on the numbers of hours international students can work during recognized school vacations. Health insurance requirements for international students because health insurance covers are generally divided into hospital cover, general treatment cover (also known as ancillary or extras cover) and ambulance cover. In Australia, private health insurance is not risk -rated like most forms of insurance. Private health insurers cannot refuse to insure any person and must charge everyone the same premium for the same level of cover, despite their risk profile and the likelihood of using health services. If we want to change address then I have to go to, this is the fastest and easiest way and immediately we can get an email confirming the change.Talking about the immigration to Australia there is independent organization gazetted but the ministers for immigration to perform skills assessment for migration purpose

I really hope that this statement of purpose has supplied you with the most detailed information so that the decision making has been easy for you and I hope it will be a positive decision. I also would like to declare that I am a genuine student fully sponsored by my parents to study in Australia. I also assure you that I will be returning to my home country after the completion of my intended course to establish my career in my home country, where I believe there are many future prospects on this sector along with the advantageous point on my part if I get the opportunity to gain Australian qualification. I sincerely thank you for taking out time for reading this statement of purpose.

I have always believed that the path to enlightenment is the “path of knowledge”. My strong belief is that greater things can be achieved through perseverance. An open mind and a determined approach are the basis for my aspiration to pursue my studies. In recent years, my native country Nepal has adapted to the trend of globalization and transformed from a low-tech manufacturing base into a technology-based economy. Growing up in such a dynamic economy has given me a strong interest in taking part in the business world of the future. Introducing myself, this is Applicant Name basically from Nagarjun-I0, Bhimdhunga, Kathmandu, Nepal. I have completed S.L.C examination from Shree Navin Jyoti English School, Bhimdhunga with XX% in the year 2XXX A.D. Similarly, I got XX% in my intermediate level studying in Ed-mark academy, Kalanki in the year 2XXX A.D. I now want to Join King’s Own institute for business in accounting course as it not only is my preferred course, but I have been studying account as an elective subject in the senior grades during school i.e. 9 and 10. Also, I chose Accounts in both 11th and 12th grade. Due to this, I think I will have benefits in my further study. After +2, I wanted to work utilizing the spare time so, I started working as an accountant in Bhimdhunga Agriculture cooperative Ltd thinking it will somehow help me  in my study further but as I continued working, I began enjoying my work, not because of anything else but I finally got a chance to use my knowledge of accounts practically. For Bachelor study, there are some good universities like Kathmandu University, Pokhara University etc. These universities offer the course that I want to study but it is very difficult to get admission to those universities due to the limited number of seats. And another reason for not choosing my home country is that the education system which is still lingering in the old decade’s practices as the teaching approach is more theoretical than a practical one. As it is a complex subject and needs as many resources as possible, the resources are limited here and I myself am more interested in practical learning as it sets in my mind quickly rather than theory. Thus, I couldn’t think of any colleges so far as I didn’t get the one with my need of having more practical study, then the idea of looking for colleges abroad came in my mind and I decided to join IELTS and I gave exam in 29th September and waiting for the result.

For other options, I could have chosen other countries like the USA, UK, and Canada and so on but USA requires more tests like SAT, it would take more time for the preparation and cost of studies in the USA is higher than in Australia. Also, a bachelor’s degree in the USA is for 4 Years. Secondly, UK currency is higher than Australia currency which makes the UK more expensive. I didn’t choose Canada because of its cold climatic condition. Doing research about the education system in Australia, I got ideas of ESOS act, according to which international students could get major information relating to their enrolment, fees in colleges, about different agents and institutions, orientation access, responsibilities of the institutions they have chosen, responsibilities of students, and so on. I also did some research on tuition protection service (TPS) overviewed all the schedules and got to know about several obligations mentioned. Moreover, research on Post work service (PSW) acknowledged me the obligations of institutions to ensure that they actually have access to employment post-study, preferably in their area of study. These factors made me choose Australia as my path for further education. Not only this, Australia is recognized as a country that offers world-class education. The quality of education is important, but another significant aspect of choosing the location or university is student life. Australia, in fact, houses six of the forty best student cities in the world. A survey in 2015 even revealed that 81% of international student respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with living in Australia. This is ‘not surprising, as Australia is considered to be the ninth happiest country in the world and is often referred to as the lucky country as well. Australia offers an educational experience that makes a real difference. It provides a unique kind of education and a learning style that encourages one to be innovative, creative and think independently. Australia has a reputation for adopting new technologies at a faster rate than in most other countries and its approach to technical education is now recognized as among the best and most innovative country in the world. Actually, my cousin sister is also now studying in Federation University in Australia and when she tells me about the education system in there, I become more and more fascinating.  Moreover, Universities in Australia offers a wide range of course as per the need and requirements of the students providing quality education composed of both theoretical as well as practical aspects. Likewise, it is also ranked as one of the happiest and wealthiest countries in the world with the world’s l2th largest economy. In 2015, Australia had the world’s ninth-highest per capita income. It ranks highly in many international comparisons of national performance, such as quality of education, life, health, economic freedom and the protection of civil liberties. Plus, it also happens to be one of my favourite countries because of its peaceful environment with stable government policy, reputed international education, high living standards, multicultural environment, favourable weather, affordable tuitions fee and more. Besides these, graduates from Australia are very successful in finding jobs and hold prominent positions worldwide as per various reports. Australia has become a world-class destination due to its safe and secure environment.

For my keen interest in exploring a new place, Sydney will be the best place to live in during my stay for the course of Bachelors in accounting. Bachelor of Commerce, major in Accounting, provides worldwide career portability due to the rigour and contemporary nature of the course which is valued internationally. This is particularly important as uniform accounting standards are now being adopted globally. The KOI Bachelor of Commerce major in Accounting is accredited by industry peak bodies such as CPA Australia (CPAA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) which provides graduates with an opportunity to apply their skills around the world. The Bachelor of Commerce, major in Accounting, provides a detailed study of the accounting discipline which includes various theories and models of accounting, the roles and traditions of accounting, internal and external financial reporting, management and financial accounting, auditing, taxation, regulatory compliance, international accounting standards and an awareness of ethical issues. This course will help me to demonstrate a broad and coherent knowledge of the accountancy discipline in the global context, It Possess an up-to-date body of specialist accounting knowledge both theoretical and technical , to be able to apply International Accounting Standards, Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Accounting Standards and Conceptual Framework and have the ability to remain up-to-date with changes in regulations and reporting requirements,  to analyse and evaluate the financial position and performance of an organization through the examination of financial and non-financial data and to evaluate the financial position of an organization through the examination of financial accounts or financial statements and non-financial data. After completion of my Bachelor degree in accounting from KOI, I believe that I can be competent in sound financial decision making. I believe after the Bachelor of Commerce (accounting) achievement; I would be able to grab the opportunity within and outside the organization. This degree can put me in a better position, better pay and recognition. I have seen many platforms in the area of accounting, stockbroker, financial advisor, tax consultant, compliance manager, forensic accounting and auditor in my century and help to develop more professional. In Nepal there are many organizations like commercial banks (Nabil Bank Ltd, Nepal SBI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank Ltd,), Multinational companies and Manufacturing Companies (Chaudhary Groups, Himalayan Snax), Airlines Companies (Buddha Airlines, Nepal Airlines Corporation), government departments, INGO’s and donor agencies and other corporate houses which are looking for skilled and qualified manpower for accounting. It is my goal to work in such reputed organizations in a higher position with better pay ranging from NRS 45,000 to NRS 60,000 per month according to the nature of organizations and recognition. I feel that a bachelor degree from KOI will definitely make me more confident and it is the right place for me to achieve my career goal.

My first reason to choose KOI is it is one of the fastest-growing institutions in Australia. It offers industrially focused and recognized degrees in the field of business and management. The expert professors, high-tech labs, well-equipped library, modern buildings and small classroom are the major attractions of this institution. KOI also has good connections with national and multinational companies. This supports for gaining the latest industrial skills. KOI is approved by the Australian Universities Quality Agency for student-focused practice in education. This institution ranks well in teaching and support facilities for students and is well-rated for overall education experience. KOI is located centrally which can be easily accessed by public transport. I also found that the Bachelor of Business (Accounting) course much economical in KOI. KOI assigns mentors who help the students in their academic difficulties which may turn out to be a good guidance for the excellent performance with free additional English tuition course. Besides its infrastructure, multicultural environment, library facilities and the course of KOI, which is accredited by relevant professional bodies? KOI is a CPA certified institution and provided Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree is accredited by CPA Australia, CAANZ – Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and IPA- Institute of Public Accountants so graduates can apply their skills throughout the world. Moreover, it offers Excellence Support, also called a Mentorship program, a special program where the seniors assist the juniors in academic performance and it is free of cost service. Having different choices in my mind, I choose King’s Own Institute in association with to continue my further studies. From my research, I come to know this institute is a pioneer of business education ranked 10th in the world for its enviable quality of University. This tertiary level, industry-based institution echoes Sydney’s upbeat and engaged ethos, it is a Vibrant, progressive and adorable Institute all around Australia. This Institute offers over 400 programs from short courses to degrees and beyond. When I visited the website of this institute, I found that their graduate has rated it with 5 stars for both student support and overall satisfaction. Another reason for choosing this university is because of its size of classrooms and its fee structure. The classrooms here are of small size which gives equal learning and interacting opportunities to each and every student. But in the context of larger universities like UTS, VU each class consists of 80 to 100 students which make learning and teaching environment chaotic. The fee structure is affordable whichis$13000 in a year. This fee is lower than other universities like VU, Charles Darwin University, and Charles Strut University and so on. The same I have found the course is very affordable with AUD $ 18,032 annual tuition fee comparing to the annual fees of Southern Cross University which have AUD$ 20,560 and Charles Strut University has AUD$ 24OOO for the same course. In an age demanding invention and digital development, KOI graduates can immediately demonstrate competence and fluency with technology for early success.

My family is well settled in Nepal. Their happiness equals to my happiness. They have compromised their dreams for my achievements. My parents strongly believe in parenthood, that they want me to achieve the height of success and reach the summit. What I am today is due to the support and love of my family members. My father has good earning and my mother always wants to see me in apex. My parents are happy to sponsor for my study and my living expenses. For my study and living expenses, my father and mother will sponsor me. I have full support of my parents and they are financially sound to cover all the expenses including living cost in Australia. They are fully aware of the cost of my study for 3 years i.e. tuition fees and living expenses.  For accommodation, I have few friends living in Sydney. I will make the necessary arrangements after receiving the offer.

I am aware about the student visa conditions. Some of them are:

  •  I need to maintain minimum of 80% of attendance
  • I am allowed to work 40 hours per fortnight on a part-time basis.
  • I need to clear 50% of subjects in each term and I cannot change the university for 6 months upon enrolment.
  • I need to maintain the health insurance until I remain in Australia.
  • I must notify to Institute within 7 days if I change the address of contact details.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude for taking out time to analyse my documents and for considering me a prospective candidate. I am eager to be a student of King’s Own Institute (KOI), Sydney campus and I am fully confident that completing this Master’s Program at KOI will prove as the most important academic goal of my life.

Thank you!

Sincerely yours

The course focuses on preparing students for accounting careers in the modern business environment, specifically preparing students for management roles in the accounting industry. It aims to equip students with decision-making and critical analysis skills required in a professional accountancy practice, as well as a variety of functional areas within the business. There is a particular emphasis on the development of professional and personal skills which underpin success in accounting.

The course requires students to study a total of 24 subjects over 6 trimesters. It contains 20 core subjects and 4 electives providing students with an in-depth understanding of accountancy practices, and an appreciation of other business-related disciplines. In addition to the solid core of accounting subjects, including legislation related to accounting practices and an appreciation of ethical practice, students can also study a selection of related business, management and finance subjects designed to provide a broad understanding of the total challenges faced by accountants and their clients.

I choose Bachelor of Business (Accounting) because it is a very broad subject that goes beyond recording and reporting of economic data. The organization can make better decisions on the basis of internal and external economic information provided by accounting graduates. So, they play an important role in the decision making of an organization/business firm also. The progress of an organization depends upon the ability of the business accountants. Thus, they are in demand in all parts of the world. For me, business and accounting are interesting subjects. Business and accounting professionals help to make a better decision because they have a proper understanding of logic, set of methods and orders. Choosing this course, I will be able to learn about business concepts as well as concepts of accounting. I believe this course would offer me the essential knowledge to become a successful professional in business and accounting related fields. The graduates pursuing this major have broad opportunities since they can work as public accountants, government accountants, management accountants, and private accountants, internal or external auditors and so on. The scope of the accounting industry leads to many areas of specialization, such as general, budget, cost, property, systems, forensic and tax accounting. Private accountants are also in demand for nonprofit organizations that need specialized expertise in tax regulations and policies unique to them. The graduates can also work as a supervisor in the business firm since they have a proper understanding of business logic and terms. So, I find a broad scope and career in this field.

Undoubtedly there are many universities in Australia, among them I am sure this is the most promising one for me. I did quite a research on different universities such as Australian Catholic University, University of Sunshine Coast, and Central Queensland University etc. But among those universities AIHEfulfills my requirement. Australian Institute of higher education providers quality of education with different courses and suitable fee structure which is an important aspect to be considered by international students like me. The same I have found the course is very affordable with AUD $ 16000 annual tuition fee comparing to the annual fees of Southern Cross University which have AUD$ 20,560 and Charles Strut University has AUD$ 24OOO for the same course and also I am eligibility for 12.5% scholarship. In an age demanding invention and digital development, AIHE graduates can immediately demonstrate competence and fluency with technology for early success.

Business and accounting are both theoretical and practical discipline that we do not only gain a great range of knowledge, but also learn the skills needed to apply this knowledge to real-life settings assisting with employability. Business touches on nearly every aspect of modern society and so a business degree is useful for both professional and personal life. I will have various prospective career opportunities in the potential fields of employment including financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, banking management accounting, and business supervising and so on. Currently, my motherland Nepal is also taking a step forwarding business sectors. I feel that the growth of business organizations would be quite high in developing countries like Nepal than any other developed countries which consequently need skilled manpower in a related field. So, I see my secure career opportunities in different sectors in Nepal. Many Companies like Chaudhary group, Surya Nepal, Udayapur Cement Factory are at their best in excellence and economy.I wish to take back all the skills and techniques I learned during my stay at Australia and incorporate those learning for the benefit of my country to introduce a new charm to the financial and business sector in my home nation.

My foremost aim would be to work towards my master degree and concentrate on my majors. Then after I would like to see myself working towards the benefit and development of the accounting industry. I have a genuine intention to go to Australia. I will return to my home country after the completion of my course as my birthplace has always been a place of comfort for me. With the degree, I would be able to get employed in many reputed big organizations of my country like Chaudhary Group, Jyoti Group, Laxmi Group, Golchha Organization, Ncell and also government and semi-government organizations. Since I will have the experience of accounting from Australia it would be a great opportunity to practice the relevant knowledge in my country. An initial salary of NRP 50,000- 60,000 could be earned from these companies holding a senior-level post of Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, Financial Analyst and Business Analyst and it will be increased as per my performance and experience. Also, currently Nepal is in the pace of development & there is a high potential of investments in macro business sectors like hydropower, tourism, manufacturing by the major companies from China, Japan, other developed countries and the Government. Such investments are a great opportunity to the graduates and missing such opportunities should not be a choice.  Such companies want a qualified professional with the knowledge of the international market and culture to run their business successfully. With the lack of opportunities in my home country, I would not be staying in Australia for which I will definitely come back to Nepal after my study. My parents have always motivated me to the right path and fulfilled my each and every desire through many sacrifices. So I have a huge responsibility to look after them with love, care and respect. I want to contribute my nation and the entire society through the combination of studies and its socio-cultural know-how in this existing society.

I can search for a job through different ways like networking, referrals, job boards and career websites, company websites, temping or internships, headhunters and recruitment agencies etc. Australian degrees are more valued and internationally recognized than Nepalese degrees. Australian degrees are highly based on practical knowledge where Nepalese degrees are based on theoretical knowledge.  My short term goal is to get the finest job in a multinational company after returning from Australia completing degree get starting salary around NPR 50,000 monthly. Then after some years of work experience and good savings, I would like to commence my own business. Knowledge never goes waste. Quality educations add professionalism in one’s life and help you become a successful person. Studying abroad is always worth. I can get a return from my abroad study in different forms, only the money cannot be measured as a factor of return on investment. Studying abroad boosts our confidence and independence, improve communication and language skills, become an explorer, become a full-time learner, and enhances employment opportunities. In Nepal, there is a great opportunity for postgraduate student. I can initially join a company as an accountant, employment in diversified sectors like market research, budget planning, corporations and consultancies. The most important benefits of internships are gain valuable work experience, explore a career path, develop and refine skills, receive financial compensation, network with professionals in the field, gain confidence, transition into a job etc. This can be used as a backbone and support in my career path.

My family is well settled in Nepal. Their happiness equals to my happiness. They have compromised their dreams for my achievements. My parents strongly believe in parenthood, they want me to achieve success. What I am today is due to the support and love of my family members. My father has good earning and my mother always wants to see me in apex. My parents are happy to sponsor for my study and my living expenses. For my study and living expenses, my family (father and mother) will be my sponsor. I have the full support of my parents and they are financially sound to cover all the expenses including living cost in Australia. They are fully aware of the cost of my study for 3 years i.e. tuition fees and living expenses.

I understand the terms and conditions and my limits to this visa subclass 500 for all international students who wish to study in Australia at a registered education institution. I should have progressive academic, should have covered by the health insurance, should have more than 80% attendance, I will have work limitation. I can work part-time for 40 hours per fortnight or 20 hours per week. I should update my address within 7 days to the University and DIBP as if I changed my address. I assure you that I will be maintaining my student visa conditions as well as other rules and regulations. I would be very thankful if I get the lifetime opportunity to educate myself in Australian way with Australian culture and lifestyle, which I believe will be both challenging and rewarding and when I come back to Nepal after completing bachelor degree I can make myself and my family proud.

I declare that the particulars given above are true and correct in every detail. I understand that incorrect or misleading statements may result in the refusal of my student visa application.

Yours Sincerely,

Briefly description of my education history & IELTS

I am Applicant Name, a permanent resident of Dakshinkali municipality ward no. 6, Kathmandu Nepal. I was born on 14th November 1XXX. I am the daughter of Parents Name.

The devotion of a decade that I have spent for completing my school life has proved to be the most fruitful and formative one. I had completed my school leaving certificate (SLC) from Shikharapur Community School, Pharping Kathmandu securing XX% in 2XXX and completed Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing from Shree Phulchoki Nursing Campus, Banepa Kavrepalanchok securing XX% in 2XXX [3 years course from 2XXX-2XXX]. Since English is not my first language, I have given my International English Language Testing System [IELTS] in 18th May, 2XXX where I scored overall 6 band. After that I researched about different countries and universities, mentoring International students. After all the researches, I came to conclusion that Australia is best suited for me. Due to all these hard works and experiences, I am accepted to the one of the reputed universities in Australia to pursue my undergraduate studies. And at last I had prepared all my financial documents and other required documents and applied for visa.

Brief record of my employment history

Work and experience is another way of learning. After completing my proficiency certificate level, it is very necessary to gain the experience at the field of nursing, that’s why I joined Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital from 2nd Dec. 2XXX to 2nd Jan. 2XXX as a three month training and full time job as a staff nurse. I received my Nepal Nursing Council License to work as Registered Nurse in Nepal in 24th Feb, 2XXX. After that I joined Vayodha Hospital in 15th Jan. 2XXX to 12th Feb. 2XXX where I worked as staff nurse. Then again I joined Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital in 19th Feb. 2XXX and working as staff nurse up to 31 Dec XXXX.

Reasons for gaps of one year or more in my academic and/or employment history:

Understanding knowledge use in everyday nursing practice is important to the improvement of educational preparation and quality in health care. The aim of the study was to elucidate nurses’ experiences of knowledge use in work situations. For students to understand these interpretive modes of knowledge use and to develop personal abilities, we should have access to and be active participants in certain health care situations, and we should have the opportunity to reflect on acting personally in professional relationships so I worked in hospital as a staff nurse.

Financial arrangement for my study:

My family is well settled in Nepal. Their happiness equals to my happiness. They have compromised their dreams for my achievements. My parents strongly believe in parenthood, that they want me to achieve the height of success and reach the summit. What I am today is due to the support and love of my family members. My parents are Nepali Citizens. ( Parents Name My father, Husband, Father in law, Brother in law ) will be my sponsor for me throughout the study course time in Australia. Our income sources are from my father’s salary who work as loan department head at Name Sahakari Sanstha Pvt Ltd, he earns NPR.XXXXXX annually. My husband works at Name Tibet Trek Pvt. Ltd as assistant manager, he earns NPR.420000 annually. My father-in-law runs the restaurant and he earns NPR.XXXXXX annually. My brother-in-law works at Name Sahakari Sanstha Pvt. accountant who earns NPR.XXXXXX annually. We have a bank loan of NPR.XXXXXX in Sunrise Bank Limited for my further living and study expenses where I already paid my initial tuition fees I will get support through my sponsors to secure my education goes smoothly as possible to my university.

My proposed living arrangements in the particular city of Australia:

A new regional initiative is set to introduce the 300,000 plus international students who come to study in Australia to the Sippy Downs. Sippy Downs is all about to promote the outstanding education, lifestyle, work and career opportunities that are available in a safe, natural and inclusive environment to international students. And also I like to study on the Sippy Downs because there are so many beautiful places to relax and less expensive than Sydney and Melbourne. I am very new in Sippy downs so I have done some research via RTA website. There are a variety of accommodation options close to USC’s campuses. Among them I am willing to choose varsity apartment in varsity view court Sippy downs Queensland 4556. It is more economic and convenient as it only takes 3min. walk to university of sunshine coast and rental cost AUD 150 per week.

Reason for not studying in home country Nepal:

I have completed my PCL Nursing in Nepal and now I want to pursue higher education. For that, I have researched study options which are available in my home country Nepal but I decided to study in abroad. As per my research, in Nepal, there are few universities but they are only providing specific courses as only public health and only available at few universities like Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, Purbanchal University, Kathmandu University with a limited number of seats and there are no other partner institution and campuses for pursuing this course.  Furthermore, the degrees in Nepal has low demand and less market value in comparison with international degrees and international work experience. After that the education system in Nepal is very weak. The teaching approach is more theoretical than a practical one.The board examination notice and results are never published on time. So, in order to make my future degree valued and wanted, it was necessary that I expand my research abroad. And my plan is to study Bachelor of health science which provides many options as communication and thought, behavioural health, public health, scientific research methods. And I am also more interested to experience a new education system from a developed country like Australia.

Reason to study in Australia, not in other countries:

I have done a brief research about education in Nepal, Australia and other countries. As per the research, I found that Australia is an advanced and developed country with the world’s 12th largest economy. It is a huge landscape and rich in natural resources. Australia is a multi-cultural country where people from different part of the world living together. 8 out of 100 top universities in the world are Australian. 5 out of the 30 best cities in the world are in Australia. Almost all the universities in Australia are government recognized which makes the students safe about their future and education. Australia is the safest country in the world which makes it less crime rate and gender discrimination country in the world in comparison with other countries like the USA and European countries. In Canada, it takes really long for the admission process and visa process and weather is also not suitable for me. But the climate in Australia is quite similar to Nepal. Living expenses and tuition costs in Australia are considerably less expensive than the UK and USA. Australia offers post-study work [PSW] opportunities for international students after a bachelor degree and such provision is not available in the UK. Australia has an ESOS [Education Service for Overseas Student] act which deals about the right of the international student. Australia has a tuition protection service [TPS] which means tuition fee is safe and secured. Australian course and curriculum are systematically and scientifically designed as per the need and demand of the modern education system. So, I decided to study in Australia than in other countries.

  • Environmental health officer.

And also it has a great future scope in a developing country like my home country Nepal.

Reasons for choosing this particular education institution no other Colleges & Universities:

Before making the decision to study bachelor of health science in university of sunshine course [USC], I have done a brief research about the course, cost recognition, duration and future scope for my career.

I took my time comparing the course and subject materials as well as a teaching environment. Among various world-class education provider in Australia I found many universities and their courses suitable for me but among them, the University of Sunshine Coast, is the one that stands out for me. Since its establishment, USC has been providing a suite of quality education in undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs to domestic and international students. As per the research, I found that USC is the only public university in Queensland to be awarded 5 stars for teaching quality in 2017. USC is rated as one of Australia’s best universities for overall student experience. USC will help, whether it’s practical to work experience or the chance to pursue a lifelong passion, to connect with the community or to travel. USC Programs include a strong focus on the core skills in the future workplace. All programs include hands-on training, practical experience and internships. USC has over 70 partner institutions worldwide and the opportunities are endless. In short, I will get everything I will need for a bright future. During my research, I have gone through the website of few other universities like Victoria University, Australian national university, Australian catholic university, university of Melbourne and many more but I found USC more preferable and suitable. USC provides a high graduate employment rate with advance technology and teaching, learning facilities. I am also attracted to the affordable tuition fees and suitable location. Also, I compared the tuition fees with other college and found that Australian national university [ANU] has AUD 43,632 per year tuition fees for the same course.

Course requirements of my selected Australian academic program:

Bachelor of Health Science in USC is three years course divided into six semesters of study. Altogether I have to study 288 units as outlined in the program structure in three years duration. I have to complete no more than 10 introductory levels (100 coded) course as well as a minimum of 14 advanced (200 or 300 coded) courses (168 units). The unit value of all courses is 12 units and I am responsible to enrol correctly according to course requisites, program rules and requirements and be aware of the academic calendar dates. At the successful completion, of course, I earn 400-500 credit points which is enough credit points acclaimed by different employers, educational institutions as well as Nepal Government here in Nepal. As I am Sippy Downs students so some course will be taught at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute. Under this course, I need to study units such as Communication and Thought, Introduction to behavioural Health, Public health foundations, Science research methods, Prosthetics and orthotics, Human resource management, environmental health, public policy, sociology, Human Physiology, Functional Anatomy, Motor control and learning etc. The total tuition fee for one year is AUD 24,000 according to the offer and COE have given by the university.

Relevancy of my selected academic program to my past education history.

The term ‘health’ is a positive and dynamic concept. In common parlance, health implies the absence of disease. Having grown up in a middle-class family, I used to have a keen interest to care about my health as well as for my parents too. With the age, my interest to work in the health sector also grown simultaneously.  At the end, to become a healthy person is already my dream so I studied Nursing from Shree Phulchoki Nursing Campus from which I have gained quite a knowledge of health. To make what we have studied effective, it is really important that we carry out our knowledge in a practical way. Thus, not letting the precious time slide I have worked in hospital after complete my proficiency level of a certificate so, as an undergraduate student, I can unhesitatingly say that this course of Bachelors of Health Science is relevant to my education and employment history.

My future career plans upon successful completion of my selected course from Australia:

First of all, if I go to Australia and get an opportunity to be a part of University of sunshine coast. My plan is to study a bachelor of health science from Australia. It provides a comprehensive overview of health and healthcare, including biomedicine, healthcare ethics, public health, psychology. I will make best out of these three years by portraying my hard work, zeal, sincerity, and dedications and ace my different exams for achieving my goal. With an accomplishment of three years of studies and with the extension of my visa I want to polish up my practical knowledge and would like to be working in any of the course-related fields over there. As per the research, the potential field of employment includes environmental health officer, epidemiologist, health education officer, project manager and many more. After completing my course from Australia and having some experience under the PSW I will return back to my home country Nepal. If I am not able to get PSW also I will return to Nepal and will apply for the job utilizing all the knowledge and information which I got from Australia. I would like to see myself working towards the benefit and development of the health industry. I have a genuine intention to go to Australia, I will return to my home county after the completion of my course as my birthplace has always been a place of comfort for me. With the Australian degree, I would be able to get employed in much reputed big organization of my countries like UNFPA Nepal, WHO, ADRA Nepal and many more. I have got all the information regarding job through online job portals like,, They are giving more priority to international degree holders than local degree holder. They are paying NPR 65000- 75000 per month to International degree holder but for the same job Nepalese Degree holder will just pay NPR 25000 -40000 per month. It seems that my investment to get an Australian degree will be more beneficial for me to get a competitive job nationally and internationally as Australian degree is globally accepted.

Understanding the visa conditions in Australia:

I am aware of the visa conditions in Australia where

  • I should maintain satisfactory attendance in the course and course progress for each period as required by the education provider.
  • I must maintain adequate managements for health insurance.
  • I should not work more than 40 hours per fortnight.
  • I must remain enrolled in a registered course.
  • I should update my address.

I assure you that I will be maintaining my student visa conditions as well as other rules and regulations. I would be very thankful if I get the lifetime opportunity to educate myself in Australian way at esteemed university with Australian culture and lifestyle, which I believe will be both challenging and rewarding and when I come back to Nepal with my degree I can make myself and my family proud.

Thank you!

I hereby certify that the information above, which has been supplied in support of my student visa application to assist me to demonstrate that I satisfy DIBP’s GS and GTE compliance requirements, has been completed in my own words and writing and is a true and correct account. I understand that if any incorrect, misleading or non-genuine information is found in this SOP, my student visa application will be refused.

Applicant Name

Passport Number: XXXXXX

Date of Birth: 14-11-1XXX

Bachelor of Nursing

Statement of Purpose

Student: KIEC Student

My name is ( Full Name ), a permanent resident of ( Address ), daughter of ( Parent’s Name ). My passport number is (XXXXXX ). I was born on 30th January, 1XXX. I am writing this statement of purpose in connection with my Higher Education Bachelor of Science (Nursing) to pursue in Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia.

Academic Background.

Regarding my academic background, I completed my School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from ( School Name ) with XX % in the year 2XXX. After that, I joined Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing in ( School Name ) ( which is affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training – CTEVT) and completed PCL Nursing with XX % in 2016. Further, after the completion of PCL Nursing, I prepared for the Nursing Registration exam which was conducted on 11th March, 2XXX by Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) and successfully became the registered nurse with the registration no. XXXX on 12th March. 2XXX.

Employment History.

As per my working experience, I have been working at ( Company Name ) from 1st April, 2XXX to till date as a staff nurse in department of General ICU and Neuro ICU. After getting some work experience in the related field, I decided to continue my study in an international platform in order to get an internationally recognized degree and gain experience which will make me more competent and dexterous. Therefore, I started preparing for Occupational English Test (OET) and appeared for the examination on 14th April, 2018 where I was able to score B in Listening, Reading, Writing and speaking respectively. After getting my OET results, I started research on finding the favorable destination for my future study. And then I came across the decision that Australia would be the best option for my Bachelor degree level. So, I started searching for the universities of Australia and finally chose Edith Cowan University.

Financial Sponsors.

With regards to my sponsors, my parents and in-laws are my sponsors who are financially sound to afford my tuition fees, living expenses, OSHC and travelling. My father is an employee at ( Company Name ) Nepal and my mother is a teacher in a government school. Also, I have an elder brother who resides in abroad. Moreover, my in-laws have their own family business named (Business Name ). We are financially sound and do have the capacity to afford my study and our stay in Australia.

Why Australia?

I wish to continue my further studies in Australia because of various reasons. First and foremost, it offers top notch education which is recognized as among the best and innovative in the world. Secondly, Australian universities are widely recognized for its existence as they deliver practical and career –oriented education so that students can acquire skills and knowledge required to enhance their career. Thirdly, it stands among popular study destinations with international students from across the globe. It is a multicultural, safe, friendly and welcoming society offering excellent environment for international students to adjust and study. On top of that, Australia has grown to become one of the most preferred destinations of many students like me in recent years which seems unstoppable now. It offers globally recognized and qualitative degree. Almost all the universities in Australia are government recognized which makes the international students safe about their future and education.  The Australian Government has formulated the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) which regulates the education system in order to maintain the high standard of education associated with the country, due to which Australia graduates are highly sought. In addition, there is a clear and standard system regarding the courses that is CRICOS CODE (The Commonwealth Register of Institution and Courses for Overseas Students) which allows the providers to offer courses on student visa. Moreover, I have chosen Australia because it has implemented rules which protect the rights of education. Australia is the country in the world, which allows ESOS (Education Services for Overseas Student) Act 2000. The ESOS Framework ensures that students have access to tuition assurance (which acts like consumer protection). The ESOS Framework includes element like Tuition Protection Services (TPS) where the fees of international students get safe and secured giving students peace of mind. Apart from academic standards, what I want to say is that Australia is itself a continent which is culturally diverse as a large number of students from across the world like Nepal, India, Africa, China, Brazil and so on are studying there. The people out there are quite friendly and supportive. Australian lifestyle and living is among the best in the world. Seven of Australia’s capital cities regularly rank among the world’s’ most livable’ cities. So, studying in Australia will provide me an ample atmosphere to live in and learn different culture, tradition and languages that will add extra flavor in my profile. Moreover, PSW (Post Study Work) provided to graduate and post graduate students for 2 years is really inevitable and an opportunity for the international students to gain experiences in the related fields.

The cost of living in Australia is reasonable considering other English speaking developed countries and the scholarship offered by the universities makes the fees really affordable. I have gathered the information from these sites,, Owing those reasons, I have selected Australia for my further study.

Why not other countries and Nepal ?

As I have already studied three years PCL Nursing course in Nepal, so I was planning to complete my Bachelor of Nursing in short period. Therefore, I began to search different universities in different countries, obviously United State and United Kingdom. I found University of South Alabama in USA which provides four years Bachelor of Nursing. Similarly, I searched a University named The University of Edinburgh having four years Bachelor degree. Moreover, India is my neighboring country, I could have made it of my choice but the Bachelor of Nursing is of four years  and spending four years of my life is really a challenging part and time taking. On the other hand, I can complete in three years in Australia which makes the cost little cheaper in compare to USA and UK. In addition, the present scenario of these countries is not favorable. I discussed with my parents regarding the same but they were not fully convinced regarding my further studies in those countries and advised for Australia. On the other hand, I had also researched a University in China named Wuhan University where the Bachelor of Nursing is of 5 years. On the top of that language, culture and foods are the major barrier for me to adjust in China, so I did not put in my priority.

With regards to my home country, there are some reasons which motivated me to study in Australia rather than my home country. Firstly, I’ve already spent more than 13 years to complete my studies and I have been familiar with the system. In order to compete in this competitive era, one has tobe highly dexterous and qualified and to have an international exposure from Nepal itself is not possible. Secondly, the universities like Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University and Purbanchal University are providing the course, and for example, Bachelors of Nursing is a four-year program of Tribhuvan University conducted by IOM. This bachelor level program was initiated since 2005 A.D. The course of 4 years is too long and time taking. Moreover, the colleges which are affiliated to other universities are not well equipped, expert and internally recognized. As the world has been a global village, so everyone wants to explore the world and gain experience and so do I as after all, I will be using all those in my country after returning.

Why Perth?

With its laid back vibe, brilliant sunsets, great weather and amazing foodie and music scene, Perth offers an excellent alternative to the more popular cities of Australia’s east coast. With thousands of miles of coastline to the north and south, Perth is the ideal base from which to explore the natural wonders of Western Australia, while the city itself is currently undergoing an intensive rejuvenation with new opportunities to enjoy the Perth lifestyle every month. Perhaps that is why for the last ten years Perth has been ranked by the Economist as one of the top 10 most livable cities in the world. Education in Perth is internationally recognized for excellence. The five universities in Perth are world-class and provide qualifications which will take students wherever they want to go. While the range of schools and colleges provide internationally recognized certifications and flexible pathways into tertiary studies. Perhaps that is why more than 56,000 students from around the world choose Perth for their study destination. An overseas education is more than just study, therefore, it should include practical skills, encourage time management, recreation and curiosity, and most importantly it should provide choice. Perth provides a diverse range of programs across a number of institutions, from technical courses to business qualifications and English language certificates, and allows students to take the direction they want at the pace that is right for them. Vacation time and the relative ease of casual employment for students allow them to enjoy the state, get to know its people and experience why it is a top 10 livable city. Therefore, on the basis of such convincing facts I found Perth approachable and have chosen it as my ultimate study destination.

Regarding Living Arrangements

With regards to accommodation, as per my research, there are many ways to arrange the accommodation, like Home stay, Hostel, Share Accommodation, Property lease (flat or house). I prefer share accommodation and that will cost approximately $ 60,870 AUD for student and around $ 14,200 AUD for a partner for accommodation.

Why ECU?

Established in 1991, ECU has grown rapidly into a quality university with excellent student satisfaction and internationally recognized research.Students and graduates at ECU are among the best in the world, with many fulfilling crucial roles in the society. Their outstanding achievements have been recognized throughout Australia and internationally through awards, grants, scholarships and prizes. However, the most important reason for choosing ECU is because I will be getting a credit of 1 year and as a result, I can directly get enrolled from second year of Bachelor of Science (Nursing).

ECU is committed to widening participation and breaking down barriers that restrict entry to education, and it has been continuing its work on the enhancement and development of alternative entry pathways to higher education.

ECU is a university that values diversity and this is exemplified by its multicultural student cohort spanning a wide range of ages. It also supports gender equality and ECU is advancing this commitment through their membership of the Athena SWAN Charter in Australia. Guided by its strategic goals, ECU is building on their reputation for excellence in teaching, developing the quality and volume of their research outputs and increasing international programs and collaborations. With such outstanding reputation and results, I believe that ECU programs will help me to strengthen my knowledge with equal emphasis on skills leading towards a better and sustainable career path in near future. Therefore, I have chosen Edith Cowan University for Bachelor of Science (Nursing).

Why Bachelor of Science (Nursing) ?

Nursing is a career where you never stop learning and it has had a significant effect on people’s lives. Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they can maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. Nurses may be differentiated from other health care providers by their approach to patient’s care, training and scope of practice. Personally, I believe that it is a highly demanding career that can be very challenging as well as rewarding. With regards to my chosen course (Nursing), there are multifarious reason to get Bachelor degree in Nursing faculty.. The first reason because we have better abilities to be hired, or better hiring marketability. Basically, what’s happening is there is initiative that’s in place, which is called the 80/20 by 2020. What that means is that by the year 2020, every hospital is basically mandated to have 80% of their staff BSN prepared. So what that means is that if they start acting now during the hiring processes and hire mainly BSN prepared nurses, they will be better able to fulfill this initiative. And I’m thinking that if we don’t meet these criteria, there could be some kind of penalties in place. So a lot of hospitals are really making sure that they do hire BSN prepared nurses, so they can meet this. So that is the number one reason and the second reason is there have been a few studies that show there are better patient outcomes with BSN prepared nurses. Moreover, I will have a great opportunity to lead a prosperous career. As a graduate of Bachelor of Nursing, I will have the skills required to work as a registered nurse in a multiple of settings in Australia or overseas including public and private hospitals, community health, mental health, aged care, home health care, indigenous health, occupational health, rural practice and international nursing. The most outstanding reason is that this program is also a pathway to graduate- entry midwifery and mental health programs and other specialty within nursing and health care. Therefore, I have chosen this course.

Career plan.

As per my career plan, my aim is to lead my life as a Nursing director. Firstly, I have planned to complete my Bachelor degree from Edith Cowan University, Australia and intend to continue my nursing career in my home country. After the completion of Bachelor, I will try to learn corporate culture and gain experience by doing PSW (Post Study Work) if possible which will enhance my level of confidence, competitiveness and professionalism. After that,, I will get back to my nation because my first priority is my family and we ( me and my husband) must have to take care of our parents. In the same way, we have lots of property to look after as well.

Here in Nepal, I will get abundant of job opportunities, as my nation is in developing phase which need lots of qualified and experienced hands like me. I will give my first priority to my home country Biratnagar. Biratnagar is one of the largest cities in Nepal and lies in Province no. 1 (which has recently been announced). There are lots of health care facilities like Nobel Medical Health and Teaching Hospital, Neuro Hospital, Golden Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Koshi Zonal Hospital, Saptakoshi Hospital, Biratnagar Eye Hospital and the number of the health clinic and health centres are also increasingly tremendously.
