I am Applicant name and I was born on DD/MM/YYYY(AD). I am a permanent resident of Nepal. I am a hardworking person with a long term goal. I am fascinated by business and want to pursue a successful career in business related field. I want to hone my skills by studying abroad learning under the expert’s guidance of renowned professionals.I am highly motivated and ambitious in pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Australia.
My Academic Qualification:
Regarding my academic qualification, I have passed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from School name.. I received my mark sheet in year A.D and I scored % or GPA. After completing my secondary schooling, I went to a college name for my higher secondary education. I chose management stream as I was interested in the business field. My study duration in College name was 2 years from Year A.D to Year A.D . I completed my +2education with first division (** % in aggregate).
Gap Explanation:
After completing my higher secondary education, I had planned to study abroad for my bachelors so I thought of joining Test name preparation class. I joined my class on DD/MM/YYYY which was of 6 weeks duration. After completing my Test name classes I booked my exam date on DD/MM/YYYY I scored ** having each band of (Reading:score, Listening:score, Writing:score and Speaking:score). After receiving my Test name score I started searching for the best colleges in Australia. I also consulted with my seniors about colleges. They highly recommend me to apply for a University name in association with Academies Australasia which is located in 505 George Street NSW 2000 Sydney Australia. When I started searching consultancy then I found I am underage and my family didn’t allow me to go foreign before 18 . So I waited till I was 18 .And finally, I applied for the University name for the course of Advanced Diploma of Accounting for ****** intake Year A.D.
Family Background:
I am a permanent resident of permanent address currently residing in Temporary address. I live in a nuclear family of 5 members. My father, my mother, my sister,brother and me. My father is a post name ,my mother works in a company name , and my brother and sister work in a company name respectively.
My family will be supporting me for all my expenses i.e. tuition, living, travelling, health insurance and any other expenses. I already paid my 1 year full tuition fees and I have attached all my income and supporting documents along with bank documents. Overall, my family is financially sound and they really want me to have good academics and they are always positive for my study.
Why Australia?
The main reasons for choosing Australia is Australian universities are globally recognized. Australia is top destination for international students. Australia has the third highest number of international students in the world. Australia has five of the 30 best cities in the world for the students based on the affordability, quality of life and employment opportunities all these elements are important for the student while choosing the best study destination. It is a safe country with low crime rates and stable laws and policies which make international students live comfortably. Australia is the most peaceful place to live in and it is a culturally diversified country where international students like me are warmly welcomed.
Moreover, Graduates from Australian colleges are highly sought after due to the impressive international reputation of the Australian education system. This system is carefully regulated by the Australian government in order to maintain the high standards of education associated with the country.
Australia’s standard of living is amongst the highest in the world. Living expenses and tuition costs are considerably lower in Australia then they are in the United States and United Kingdom. There is also the possibility of scholarships, which can help to lower the cost of studying in Australia for international students. Institutions in Australia offer a wide variety of courses and degrees, so international students can easily find the courses that are right for them. The first decision international students have to make while choosing a degree program is which type of college is most catered to their needs and interests. Students can choose between universities, vocational education and English language training. If necessary, it is easy for students to move between one qualification levels. Students can learn in such a friendly and warm welcoming environment as well.
In the context of Nepal, the education structure is backward compared to other countries. The way of teaching is theoretical based only. We still have traditional teaching methods and we lack modern technology in our classrooms. Also the education we get is not competitive on an international platform. Australian degrees will not only be highly valued in my home country but globally exposed in the international market. I studied for a long time in Nepal and am now willing to study in an international environment where I will have an opportunity to meet people from different nations, and can exchange ideas and culture with each other. Studying abroad is not only getting a degree where I will get experience a brand new country with incredible new outlooks, customs and activities. Another reason I might consider studying abroad is for the chance to experience different styles of education. By enrolling in a study abroad program, I will have the chance to see a side of my major that I may not have been exposed to at home. Thus, I have chosen Australia over my home country.
Why Sydney?
After choosing Australia as my study destination, Sydney was my preferred destination so I finally chose Sydney because it provides a world class study option and it is the best place for international students. Sydney has a great climate as well. The QS World University Ranking listed Sydney as the 4th best city for students. There are many attractions in Sydney like Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbor etc.The people of Sydney are multicultural and welcome people from all over the world. They love their city and they keep it safe, clean and friendly so that everybody feels welcomed.
Why University name ?
I came across a number of colleges and Universities with a lot of research through web surfing but the challenge was to select a provider that would suit me in terms of quality education as well as tuition fees. I came to know about the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) which gives equal priority to degrees from Australian education providers (college or university). Going through websites of colleges and also consultation with college representatives, ACT seemed to fulfill my requirements. ACT not only offered me Advanced Diploma of Accounting, which I was looking for but also had a very affordable fee structure .So to pursue my career, I have decided to continue my further studies at University name under Academies Australasia. These enable graduates of the diploma and Advanced Diploma courses to be considered for advanced standing for their university studies, in Australia. Also in this college, the support team provides guidance and support to numbers of programs including peer support program, social activities and information and individual assistance.
Why Advance Diploma of Accounting?
I am a student of management faculty and I want to pursue my further study in Advance Diploma of Accounting.The duration of the course that I am intended now is overall of 2 years. The total fee of the course is AUD $ 16,000 and per year the amount to be paid is AUD $ 8,000 as per the fees structure of 2018. With an Advanced Diploma of Accounting we should study accounting, law, economics and finance as part of commence degree, and can choose from subjects like taxation law, auditing and financial planning to specialize our skills in accounting. Accounting is the best route to successful business and regarded as the basic tool and language of business. Advance Diploma of Accounting Is the gateway to a variety of positions in both public and private sectors. This subject offers students a sound background in all areas of business through common core subjects in addition to in-depth knowledge in one or more chosen areas of interest. This course provides an understanding of important aspects of business and offers a wide choice of majors and sub-majors. This degree seeks to provide students with the knowledge, competencies and value necessary to develop critical, analytical and evaluative skills essential for fulfilling an effective career in business. Moreover, the demand for accountants appears to be growing. Job opportunities in today’s business climate are better than ever for accountants. The varied job opportunities opened to accountants may be summarized into three major areas: public accounting, private accounting and government and non-profit accounting.
I will complete my Advanced Diploma first and then I will apply for Bachelor of Accounting course in Australian Universities i.e. Federation University, Central Queensland University, Western Sydney University etc with credit from my Advance diploma. I have planned to complete my Bachelor’s degree from Federation University Sydney as Academic Australasia Groups is also affiliated with Federation University. I will be getting credit so I will complete my remaining bachelor. It will minimize my total cost to complete a bachelor than applying directly for the bachelor. I can complete my Advanced Diploma just in 16000 in ACT and can invest approx. 36000 AUD for one and half years of bachelor in university. It means I can complete my full bachelor in AUD 52000 where I need to pay approx. 72000 AUD while applying directly to a Bachelor in University. I will have an opportunity to study in a smaller size in colleges than University so that I can get personal attention from the tutor.
Visa class 500:
As a responsible student, I understand the Obligations of a student under higher education visa subclass 500, Australia. Some of them are:
➢ I cannot work for more than 40 hours per fortnight when my course is in session.
➢ I cannot change the university for 6 months upon enrollment.
➢ Achieve 50% academic performance in each term and program/course progress for all studies and maintain at least an 80% attendance record during my studies.
➢ Maintain payment of Tuition fees by the census date of each term in which I am enrolled to study.
➢ I have to maintain my Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of my student visa.
My previous immigration history:
I do not have any previous wrong immigration history in my profile and this is the first time I am applying for abroad.
Future Plans:
After completing my studies in Australia, I have planned to return to my own country Nepal, being the responsible child of my family and emotionally attached with them. So,it is my responsibility to look after them in their old age. And then I will not be having only international degree that is valued highly in my home country but also international exposure , so more preference will be given to me when I walk in to work in my aspired companies in Nepal and I aspire to work in renowned multinational companies like CG, NCELL, NTC and internationally recognized banks like Nabil Bank, SBI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank where I can apply in a dignified post like accountant, financial advisor, manager where I need to plan financial audits, verify assets and liabilities , deliver personalized investment solution to help clients work towards long term financial goals , develop and deepen client relationship and share my skill and knowledge . However, the financial advisor of the renowned financial institution is highly paid in our country starting from monthly 65,000NRS and it increases after having some more experience.
Moreover, I can even work in big projects like engineering field, Hydropower Projects, Civil Projects, Hospitality Projects as an Auditor, Revenue Accountant, Project Accountant, where they evaluate huge project’s budget as per material cost and different governmental taxation rules. These posts are highly paid in our country 80,000 NRS above.
Hence, this would be very beneficial for me and this is how I recoup the expenses that my parents are going to invest for my study in Australia. Also, Nepal is deprived of many new technologies invented around the globe so; I have planned to bring all new possible technologies here with new standard plans and firms to develop my country. And my country is a developing country. It needs new technologies and skilled manpower like me to develop it rapidly.
